Some funny things he is doing right now...
Owen is learning new words everyday and the latest two are "Mine" and "No" Nice right?
So when changing his diaper he was grabbing his little boy parts and saying pee pee......"Yes Owen that is your pee pee" I say........He then again grabbed his little boy parts and said in his aggressive voice "Mine!" me laughing.."Yes, Owen that is definitely yours."
Things he loves to do....
Play cars, oh man, does he love cars.....all this kids needs is a parking lot full of cars and he is a happy camper!
Ride his bike....he is so fast and blows past his sister on her big kid bike!
Explore....as long as he can go where he pleases you will not get any complaints from Owen!
Be a charmer.....Owen is the favorite wherever he goes.....he has many people wrapped around his little finger. It reminds me of "Norm" from Cheers. When we walk into the gym everyone gushes over him, and especially at Ella's pre-school...when we walk in all the kids turn and say "Hi" to him and exclaim how cute he is, and if I don't have Owen with me when picking up Ella I get in big trouble with her teachers!
Play with Daddy!.....It melts my heart everytime we come home, if Chad's car is in the driveway we get an excited "Daddy!", if not its a sad "daddy"
Wave at cool looking guys.....it totally cracks me up! When we are at the gym and some muscle guy walks past Owen gives him the guy wave with the nod......they learn this at an early age apparently!
Read books! One after the other! I love it when he hands us a book and then plops right down on our laps!
Some pics!
peek-a-boo
Now this picture is a whole other story! Last Friday while at the gym in the kids club another little kid slammed Owen's pinkie finger in the door....to make a long emotional and sad story short he ended up with six stitches to attach the skin back on that was barely hanging on. We went to the hand doctor today and he said the skin is looking alive and will hopefully stay that way...so prayers for Owen would be appreciated! We took this picture after coming home from the emergency room.....he was so happy after just being in so much pain!
p.s Don't worry Auntie Holly....we went and bought him a manly bike helmet so he doesn't have to wear Ella's girlie pink one!
Owen and Dad time...so cute!!
Notice the lump on forehead!
This is what happens when you have had croup and been home with Mom for 4 days straight, and then Mom tells you to go get your shoes on so we can go play at the gym......so much excitement you run straight into the corner of the wall!
Reading books with Dad!
This is a standard Owen look.....so serious!
Climbing rocks with Ella....always determined to do whatever she is doing!
Always in motion!
What a darling little boy! We couldn't be happier that he is ours!
Love you Owen!!!!!!
